How did we succeed in redesigning and producing a vial that filled our Serbian customer's requirements in just 7 days?
For our Serbian customer, Piramida made P-44 vial samples for a technical trial run.
What was the problem?
After the technical trial run, it was found that although the vials were fulfilling the customer technical specifications, were not in fact fulfilling the customer requirements, because of frequent fracturing and breakage during the process of filling and closing. Due to this breakage, our customer sent us written reclamation and decided against usage of the vials.
What was the way Piramida approached solving this problem?
After the reclamation from our customer, within 24 hours Piramida representatives visited the customer and in joint investigation determined that the bottles were made exactly according to customer's specifications. Despite this, the design and strength of the vial were below what was actually required by the customer.
Piramida suggested vial design changes, in order to increase the strength of the vial and avoid future breakage problem
Within a week Piramida redesigned the vial, made special strength testing machine which measured the vials capable of withstanding the force of 350N, and produced a new sample run of 40 000 vials.
What were the results of our solution?
The following week our customer repeated the trial run with new samples, which fulfilled the real requirements completely (0% of breakage).
With our decades of experience and knowledge, we suggested to our customer the changes which successfully solved a difficult problem.
